Final Performance
My final performance went a solid average. It worked to an extent, where different videos were being triggered, but the correct ones were not triggering with the right colours/facial features, I think this is because of the different lighting conditions down there which I should have tested!!! There were at least two videos in my performance that were not triggered at all and another one that was not suppose to until the end. Overall I got it done and it didn't go badly but if it had gone just as I had planned it I think it would have been really successful!
Final MaxPatch
My final maxpatch works by taking the hue and saturation values through a web cam and triggering different movies relevant to the hue on videop-lanes that fade in and out. It has one main patch with 10 subpatches for each video.
Final Solution
Morgan has helped me come to a final solution. The values coming in from my hue are being scaled so they only hit from 0-10 which trigger between each of my 10 movies. Have tested it out and although it is alot less accurate it is solving alot of my problems and simplify my patch...so looks like this may do the trick. Here's hoping!
GUTTED it doesn't work!
The Max patch with the change is not working for some reason it is only banging when it goes outside the higher value or below the higher value, not outside or inside the two...am reallgy stuck for what to do at the moment to fix this and I am running out of time!!!! Can always fall back on the back up plan but the results from that were not particularly desirable
Window Frame
I decided I would make this, as the "web" cam will be zoomed right up to match the inside see-through part of this frame. That means that not only can I judge the distance of where my face needs to be but the audience can also get an idea of how my different face movements inside this frame are triggereing it
